How you will enjoy your day:

Manage the recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt team members.

Work Performed:

  1. Interact with department managers to determine criteria needed for posting position
  2. Post positions internally utilizing openings report and company careers website
  3. Post positions externally utilizing websites, local newspapers, etc.
  4. Conduct initial screening of candidates if requested
  5. Ensure all managers are reviewing their requisitions in a timely manner, and report/update HRD and Leadership
  6. Ensure requisitions are approved by the department director, and that they are budgeted
  7. Follow-up with qualified and non-qualified candidates on status by using the ATS system
  8. Coordinate in-person interview process, if requested
  9. Coordinate travel arrangements for non-local candidates
  10. Responsible for Advertising
  11. Take initiative on finding new ways to reach, connect and hire candidates
  12. Make job offers and conduct all background, reference checks, drug screens, etc.
  13. Coordinate start dates with hiring manager and training manager for NHO purposes
  14. Manage the internal transfer process
  15. Cold call potential candidates and sales calls to local organizations in community to promote company and positions.
  16. Develop relationships with colleges with Hospitality Management programs, updating them on the resorts current openings, on a weekly basis
  17. Attend appropriate job fairs and programs relating to recruiting and staffing
  18. Maintain resume file system/applicant tracking system. Ensure we hire budgeted positions and the correct number of positions needed
  19. Conduct on property job fairs
  20. Coordinate internships / international workers / seasonal employment, including DOL and USCIS filing and processing
  21. Other duties as assigned by management

Supervision Received: Assistant Director of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources

Responsibility & Authority:

  1. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of the Human Resources Department.
  2. Take an active role in employee sponsored events.
  3. Large amounts of communication and coordination with other departments.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree from four-year College or university or equivalent experience. Prior experience in recruiting with emphasis on hospitality/food service and human resources generalist background preferred. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Computer skills required. Strong team member relations skills.
